Scented candle FURTUM

Branding

Scope of Work: Project Manager - Art Director

The FURTUM project captures the essence of luxury and elegance in the branding and packaging design for a premium scented candle line. Inspired by the delicate balance of nature and sophistication, this project showcases a modern and refined approach to product presentation.

Key features of the project include:

- Brand Identity Development: Crafting a timeless logo and cohesive visual language to reflect FURTUM's luxurious essence.

- Packaging Design: Designing sleek and minimalist packaging that highlights the product’s premium quality while ensuring an unforgettable unboxing experience.

- Storytelling Through Design: Incorporating subtle, nature-inspired elements to evoke emotions and create a sensory connection with the product.

This project demonstrates my expertise in combining creativity with functionality to build a brand identity that resonates with its target audience and elevates the product's perceived value.

Realizing the change in people's perception in recent years, health and well-being is something that is increasingly focused. After the Covid pandemic, that was even more evident.

With the data obtained from the analysis of the industry and the scented candle market in Vietnam, I realized that my country has available resources for production and is also a workshop for processing scented candles for many brands. famous in the world.

With the aforementioned arguments, why not create a brand of all-Vietnamese scented candles? Due of this, FURTUM was created.

The term “FURTUM” in the brand name “NEFURTUM” refers to the name of an ancient Egyptian god who was created from a lotus flowering on the waters of the primordial. He is shown as a guy with a water lily on his head and is revered as the god of fragrance and beauty. In accordance with myth, Nefertem gave Ra a lotus to ease his suffering, and the ancient Egyptians wore miniature statues of Nefertem on their person to ward off bad luck.
The inspiration came from the lotus, which represents both the site where the deity was born and the flower he gave to the god Ra to soothe his suffering. The stylised lotus bud and lotus leaf make up the icon’s two major components.
I really like this font because its story and name is very "Vietnamese"
I find the manuals of other brands really bad and cumbersome. Therefore, the FURTUM includes thank you notes, vouchers, information and instructions for use in a single sheet of paper.
I have created a website for FURTUM, but due to my limited web coding capabilities, the site currently works fine on desktop only.
